What could give a little boy this face?
Sledding in the new snow in below freezing temps was enough to put a little rosy in those cheeks and the upset? Well, a delay in the acquisition of hot chocolate, of course!
It was fun, if a little cold. It started with a little frustration trying to get his mittens on (he can't seem to get his thumbs into the thumb hole and the mittens are too thick for us to manipulate it) but once we gave up and they got to go outside they had a great time!
We woke up to some real cold this morning. A frigid -11 that feels like -30. Wow. Chilly! We haven't had temps here like that in years. Days like this make me glad I don't still work at the barn. (Sorry Andy and Michelle!)

We've been watching that cold weather on the news. Glad we are not getting the worst of it. The best mittens I ever saw had a little zipper on the side so you could put the thumb in and then close them up. Haven't seen them in a while. We tell Dallin the same thing. "It's okay. It doesn't matter."
Living in Texas for 8 years now has almost made me forget the fun times over the years of playing in the snow. There was killer hill, snow forts, sleigh rides, and all the other games facilitated by the snow---too bad the stuff is cold!
