Garbage Truck Friend

Today the garbage truck stopped at our house to pick up our recycling. Noah is attuned to all likely sounds coming down the road that might signal a garbage truck or a school bus. He ran to the window and watched intently and narrating in his gibberish as the sanitation worker did his thing with the recyclables and drove away.

As the truck pulled away from our house Noah said, clear as day, "Bye, bye, garbage truck. See you later."
