Millennium Farms Pumpkin Patch

This year we tried organizing a MAHA Lab (Chris' lab) family friendly outing by going to pick pumpkins. We had 50% attendance but it was 100% fun. OK, that was a little cheesy. Anyway, we had a good time and the kids really enjoyed themselves.

First, we took a hayride out to the pumpkin patch.
Becca made sure the driver knew which way to go!

Then we hunted for the perfect pumpkin.

Ian found one he liked.

Noah found his too.

And Chris was not to be out done by the kids.

Our fun day continued with pony rides,

jumping in the bouncer thing,
(this brought back memories of breaking my
finger as a kid-did you know it was possible
to break your finger in a thing filled with air?)

playing with corn,

a friendly game of pumpkin checkers,

and the petting zoo, where I saw the babyist lambs ever.

And Ian was there too!
He was great-very cooperative and
happy to see the world, or at least this patch of it!

Your pictures make me miss Fall. We don't have that season in the desert. Glad you had fun, as one of my friends said our kids are going to grow up thining pumpkins grow in parking lots.
